So apparently it is cold in Spain sometimes and it even rains. I know, can you believe it? Right now the weather in Sevilla (which was averaging 40 degrees for the best part of 2 months) is turning and is now relatively cold. I am predictably unprepared for this (what do you mean you can’t wear shorts in November?) and am therefore desperately searching for a jacket that I like. Online shopping continues to be a thing of mystery to most Spaniards, so I tried searching on the High Street but left disappointed. Now I’m back to the trusty world of the internet and lusting after everything Wintery from boots to coats.
I have been contemplating buying a varsity jacket for a while although am concerned they’re reserved for teenagers. Either way, this Free People jacket (£104) is mighty appealing. Also, wedge trainers have been on mind for well over a year and it seems only Isabel Marant’s originals will satisfy me, until I found this pair… Nike and Liberty collaborate on these wedge print beauties (£95), now if I could just find them in my size!
Dinosaurs never stop being awesome. If you’re in any doubt then I urge you to head to London’s Natural History Museum for a refresher course. Cooperative’s T Rex sweater (£45) is cool and reminds me of Sophie Hulme’s subtle dinosaur pieces. Also, whilst we’re on the subject I can’t stop imagining my puppy Chancho rocking this costume (£22). Folk boots seem to be everywhere right now too, and this flat suede pair (£105) are very high up on my wishlist.
Temperley for John Lewis is still available and I just love this coat-cardigan (£120). I really think I would live in it if I could get my hands on one. If I had more of a budget for coat shopping, I would opt for YMC’s pea coat (£325), but as it is I think I’ll go for Minkpink’s biker (£66) instead. What are you lusting after right now?
