Karl Invasion
Karl Lagerfeld has been racking up the collaborations recently from Macy’s to Sephora, but none has created as much hype as his capsule line for Net-a-Porter. The Chanel designer announced plans to work with the online boutique back in October and it is now ready to launch. Last night, Net-a-Porter held a press preview evening giving us the chance to get up close and personal with the Kaiser’s latest designs.
The pieces mainly stick to a monochrome palette with touches of metallic and flashes of pink. One of my favourite pieces is the silver dress with twisted detailing (£175) which would be perfect for brightening up dull grey days. Obviously there is plenty of apparel featuring Karl’s face, but the t-shirt below with his ponytail on the back really made me smile.

Staying true to Karl’s signature look, there are plenty of accessories. This includes fingerless leather gloves and many collars. These range in price from £70.
The line also includes wedge sandals which were one of the highlights of the lookbook for me. I liked the grey buckled pair (£325) the best.
The collection launches on 25th January simultaneously at locations around the globe including London, Paris, New York and Sydney. If you’re in London, head down to Covent Garden (Unit 3, Covent Garden Market, London, WC2E 8RF) at 3.30pm to be in with a chance of winning a Karl-packed goody bag.
