The latest designs by Guillaume Henry have just been unveiled as the pre-fall ’13 collection. The Paris based fashion house has yet again captured my heart with super cool French style clothing. These designs were inspired by Roman Polanski’s The Tenant. The press release states that it encapsulates, “An inspired Parisian woman, accustomed to Saint-Germain des Prés, whose wardrobe borrows from 70’s references: thick leather, shearling, sophisticated tweed and mohair.”
I love the textures in this collection, especially on the coats with statement layered collars. I love the casual yet chic style of them, especially when styled with over the knee socks and a chic dress. The brown clutch bag is in the style of a portfolio adding an art student feel to the look.
Henry has played with textures and silhouette for the pre-fall range which is sure to be a hit with his growing celebrity fan base including Alexa Chung and Kristen Stewart. What do you think of these pieces?
